Load shedding continues in Karachi after rains

The power supply in different areas of the metropolis has not been restored yet after rains lashed out Karachi on Sunday.

As per details, inhabitants of Liaquatabad, Nazimabad, New Karachi, Lines Area, Old Area, Gulistan-e-Jauhar areas stayed awake at night owing to no power blackout.

K Electric officials restored electricity in most areas, but in different areas of Lines Area, Old Area, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, the citizens stayed awake at night while the citizens say that the electricity does not come immediately but the bill comes to thousands of rupees.

K Electric officials said that more than three dozen feeders could not be restored after the rains, where rehabilitation work is underway.

After heavy rains in Karachi last day, water has been drained from the main roads of the city. However, it does seems impossible in the city for there to be rain and no load shedding.
