Blast in Balochistan's Turbat market kills one, injures several

At least one person died and seven people were injured in a blast in Balochistan's Turbat market on Tuesday morning.

According to local media reports, an improvised explosive device (IED) was fitted on a motorcycle. As a result, a number of vehicles have also been damaged.

Rescue teams reached the site of the blast and the injured have been shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Turbat.

The reason behind the blast has not been ascertained yet. Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Alyani has condemned the attack, saying anti-state elements will not succeed in their agendas.
