ISLAMABAD: Active cases of coronavirus in the federal capital have dropped to 19.7 percent as out of total 14,454 confirmed cases only 2,858 are active, as on Friday. According to official data, out of total 14,454 cases, 11,599 patients have completely recovered since the spread of Covid-19 in the country.
On Friday, the number of new coronavirus cases dropped to 52, the lowest in the last two and a half months. At least, 11,599 Covid-19 patients have recovered so far in the city, taking the recovery rate in the city to 81 percent, the data says.
Out of total 13,195 cases, 157 people have died in the city, since the outbreak of the highly contagious virus.
