10th class results as per schedule: BISE chief

LAHORE: Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore Chairman Prof Riaz Ahmed Hashmi has said the results of 10th class annual examination-2020 will be announced as per schedule.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the BISE chairman said the marking process of answer sheets of more than 240,000 students was going on speedily. He added that 23 centres had been set up in Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura and Nankana Sahib for marking of the answer sheets.

Hashmi continued that observance of the coronavirus-related standard operating procedures (SOPs) of the Punjab government had been fully ensured in those centres and CCTV cameras were also installed to ensure complete transparency.
