Load shedding, high voltage leading to financial worries

The residents of Karachi say that they continue to suffer from 12 to 14 hours of load shedding. In most areas, the citizens are facing financial loss due to power outages and high voltage issue.
As per details, residents of the Liaquatabad C-1 area have complained that the power supply in the area has been cut off since 9 am. Last night also the power supply was cut off at 11 am and restored at 6 am.
Residents of the area say that the duration of load shedding in the area is three hours. They said that their complaint is not being registered at the complaint center.
In addition, power is cut off every hour and a half in Korangi Nasir Colony, causing severe hardships to the citizens.
On the other hand, the citizens also say that the load shedding of K Electric has started causing financial loss to us. The power outage in Landhi Mansehra Colony has been going on since last night.
In Landhi Mansehra Colony, a medical store was reduced to ashes due to high voltage.
In this regard, the spokesman of Electric said that complaints of load shedding are more common in areas with theft and damage. Load shedding is carried out in these areas under the National Power Policy.
