CHICAGO: Chicago Board of Trade corn futures firmed on Friday, supported by a round of short-covering, traders said.
But weakness in wheat and concerns about exports limited the buying in corn.
The benchmark CBOT March contract failed to hold support above its 10-day and 20-day moving averages.
Corn futures notched a weekly decline of 1.7 percent. Corn has fallen in five of the last six weeks.
