CHICAGO: Chicago Board of Trade soft red winter wheat futures and K.C. wheat futures fell for the fourth straight day on Thursday, hitting contract lows.
MGEX spring wheat also closed in negative territory.
Traders cited pressure from a Statistics Canada report issued on Wednesday that pegged Canadian wheat production as bigger than expected.
The US Agriculture Department on Thursday morning said that weekly export sales of wheat were 323,000 tonnes, in line with trade estimates that ranged from 250,000 to 450,000 tonnes.
