Kisan Board Pakistan (KBP) has launched the process of distribution of agricultural inputs among the farmers of flood affected areas from Uch Sharif on Saturday. KBP will distribute agricultural inputs among flood affected districts of Mianwali, Bhakkar, D G Khan, Muzaffargarh, Rajanpur, Rahimyar Khan, Bahawalpur and Multan.
KBP Central President Sardar Zafar Hussein Khan reached Uch Sharif on Saturday in the first phase of this programme of the Board, said KBP Central Secretary Information Haji Muhammad Ramazan. Ramazan said that the Board will distribute free seed and fertilisers worth Rs five million among the flood hit farmers of the above mentioned districts.
KBP Uch Sharif wing also held a simple ceremony to welcome KBP President and Vice-President, where leaders assured the flood hit farmers of their all out support in their rehabilitation. They said Kisan Board had always supported farmers in their hard times and would continue to do so. They stated that KBP would continue support to flood affected farmers for current crop.
