FIFA World Cup 2018 lineup has been completed, as Peru are the 32nd and final side to secure a place in Russia after a 2-0 win against New Zealand.

The Kiwis were unable to match the Socceroos heroics from a day earlier and will watch from home, along with the likes of Italy, Netherlands, Ghana, Chile and United States.

For Peru, Australia — and the 30 other countries headed to the tournament starting in June — the next step is the World Cup draw on December 1.

From Europe, the host Russia, France, Portugal, holders Germany, Serbia, Poland, England, Spain, Belgium, Iceland, Switzerland, Croatia, Sweden and Denmark made it to the grand stage.

Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Colombia and Peru will represent South America in the World Cup. Mexico, Costa Rica and Panama have qualified from CONCACAF while Iran, South Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia and Australia are from Asia. From Africa, Tunisia, Nigeria, Morocco, Senegal and Egypt made it to the finals.

Now all 32 teams will be split into four pots based on their FIFA World Rankings. Pot one contains hosts Russia and the top seven nations in the world. Pot two, three and four will each feature the next eight best teams.

The draw then sorts the 23 teams into eight groups of four with each group containing one team from each of the four pots. Each group players three matches before the top two nations advance to the knockout rounds.

The World Cup draw will take place in Moscow on December 1 this year.
