RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Monday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 51304.82 with a positive change of 562.79 and volume of 20,814,810 shares.

High and Low were 51304.82 and 50742.03 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 135,253,430 shares with 351 total traded companies out of which 253 were up, 87 were down and 11 were unchanged.

COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 21,878,900 shares. It was followed by TEXTILE SPINNING with a total traded volume of 16,236,800 shares.

The three top traded companies were Pervez Ahmed with a volume of 11,047,500 and price per share of 2.77 (0.29), Azgard Nine with a volume 5,182,000 of price per share of 13.90 (0.26), Pace (Pak) Ltd. with a volume 4,159,000 of price per share of 10.10 (0.27).

The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak LtdXD with price per share 2418.15 (115.15), ICI Pakistan with price per share of 1170.34 (55.73) and Exide (PAK) share of 999.96 (47.61).

The top three decliners were Pakistan Cables with price per share of 352.10 (11.45), Fazal Cloth with price per share of 176.11 (9.24) and Shahtaj Textile per share of 135.38 (7.12).
