ISLAMABAD: The prices of fruits and vegetables overall reduces in price of majority of the items during the week in the Federal Capital.
According to the Islamabad Market Committee price list issued here on Sunday for Sabzi Mandi I-11/4 were, Potato Rs. 41, Potato Store Rs. 37, Onion Rs. 30, Tomato Rs. 37, Ginger Rs 95, Garlic (China) Rs 285, Garlic Local 300, Lemon Rs 65, Lady Finger Rs 75, Pumpkin Rs 35, Brinjal Rs 39, Peas Rs 155, Farsh Bean Rs 82, Tinda (Walaiti) Rs 50, Cucumber Rs 50/35, Capsicum Rs 110/75, Green Chilli Rs 65, Cauliflower Rs 29/19, Cabbage Rs 47, Bitter Gourd Rs 105/70, Green Zucchini Rs 95, Spinach Rs 22/16, Radish Rs 20, Turnip Rs 34, Maroo Rs 52, Yam Rs 66, Carrot Rs 60, Chicken Rs 132 and Egg per dozen Rs 123.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple kala Kalo Rs 125/90, Apple Golden Rs. 100/68, Apple White Rs. 70/52, Apple Ambri Rs. 65/45, Apple Mushadi Rs. 62/45, Apple China Rs 195/145, Banana Pak Rs 95/55, Pear China Rs 170/140, Grapes Tafi Rs 165/140, Guava 72/46, Japani Amlok Rs. 92/60, Pomegranate Kandhari 166/130, Orange Rs. 80/55 and Fruiter Rs 88/56.
