imageAfter an extremist Indian party had threatened Pakistani artistes and gave them a 48-hour deadline to leave the country, Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan left the country and has no plans to go back there anytime soon.

According to Times of India, Fawad Khan, who is looking forward to the release of his next movie – Karan Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' – has flown to Pakistan.

Fawad was on the top of the list of Pakistani actors, who were issued threats to leave India. An extremist Indian party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) had given a 48-hour deadline to Pakistani artists to leave India. The MNS said they will also block the release of movies starring Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan in Maharashtra, it was reported.

According to reports in the Indian media, the extremist Indian party said if Pakistani artists failed to leave they would be ‘pushed out’ from the country.

This threat by the extremist group was followed by another one by an Indian journalist, Soumyadipta Banerjee, who in a post told the Pakistani actor to leave the country.

Fawad Khan is a part of Karan Johar’s directorial ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and his two-scene appearance in the teaser has already led to a lot of anticipation. The actor has also signed a film which will be produced by Salman Khan and another opposite Katrina Kaif.

The Pakistani heartthrob has a number of big-ticket Bollywood projects in hand. Will the MNS threat affect his and other Pakistani artistes’ films and careers? Only time will tell.
