imageISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Privatization Muhammad Zubair Thursday said maintenance of Law and order is equal responsibility of all provinces and department concerned.

Talking to a private news channel, he said federal government was fulfilling its responsibility and cooperating with the provinces to ensure peaceful environment in the country.

He said crime incidents take place anywhere in the country are condemnable.

Target killing of any community in the country, he said, couldn't be justified in any pretext, saying, it was collective responsibility to control such incidents.

Zubair said the government was ready to accept all legal demands of Majlis e Wahdat ul Muslimine (MWM) to resolve the matter of sit-in infront of National Press Club (NPC) Islamabad.

Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI)'s leadership has approached the participants of sit-in but never raised their issues at any forum.

He said the elements who threaten to block the whole system of the country could never be sincere with the nation as such moves cause annoyance for people.
