ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Market Committee on Monday issued price list of vegetables and fruits here at Ramazan/Sasta Bazaars at Pakistan Town, Barakahu and Taralia areas.
According to spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Ramazan/Sasta Bazaars of Islamabad are as follows:
Potato Rs.28, Potato Store Rs.23, Onion Rs.31, Tomato Rs.24, Ginger Rs.85, Garlic desi Rs.175, Garlic (China) Rs.175, Lemon desi Rs.95, Lady Finger Rs.37, Pumpkin Rs.34, Brinjal Rs.33, Peas Rs.105, Farsh Bean Rs.94, Tanda Walaiti Rs.64/45, Tanda desi Rs.63/42, Cucumber Rs.33, Capsicum Rs.56/40, Green Chilli Rs.55, Cauliflower Rs.65/40, Cabbage Rs.34, Bitter gourd Rs.33, Green Zucchini Rs.34, Spinach Rs.38, Raddish Rs.34, Maroo Rs.35/20, Turnip Rs.35, Yam Rs.82, Carrot Rs.43, Chicken Rs.144 and Egg per dozen Rs.77.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruit per kilogram of high and medium quality in Sasta Bazaars are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs.140/120, Apple Ambri Rs.80/60, Apple White Rs.90/70, Apple China Rs.195, Apple Newziland Rs.240/210, Banana Pak Rs.130/90, Banana Ind, Rs.165/135, Pear China Rs.158, Apricot Swat Rs.125/110, Apricot kabli Rs.190/165, Melon desi Rs.35/25, White Melon Rs. 27/20, Water Melon Rs.22/16, Peach Rs.160/140, Mango Sundhari Rs.110/85, Mango Maldeh Rs.82/60, Mango Almas Rs.70/50, Mango langra Rs.72/55, Mango Chosa White Rs.190/140, Mango Dosari Rs.100/80, Mango Ratool Rs.155/135, Mango Desi Rs 55/40, Plum Rs.158/135 and Garma Rs.90/60.
The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
