imageISLAMABAD: Pakistan Cricket Association for the Physical Handicap (PCAPH) on Thursday said the national team will be touring to India to have a triangular series in March.

Talking to APP, PCAPH Chairman Abbas Hashmi said the triangular series include Pakistan, India and Afghanistan. "I always want to contribute one way or the other to promote cricket for the Physically Handicapped players in the country," he said.

Hashmi said our initial efforts proved very successful and we hope that the triangular series will open the way for a Physical Handicap world cup soon. "India and Afghanistan have raised their disabled teams and we are looking at a few more countries," he said.

Hashmi said we are giving all the facilities to our players that normal first-class cricketers get such as traveling and lodging arrangements as well as proper sports clothing.

Hashmi said we will also tour South Africa to have a series with their team in June. "We have not finalized the invitation yet but hopefully we will go there," he said.

Hashmi said we are in close contact with many foreign teams on different countries to host a championship in Islamabad this year. "India and Afghanistan have been touring Pakistan regularly for bilateral series but this time we are planning to host a big championship," he said.

Hashmi said we have appointed coordinators in all the major cities who are finding out the players and then will send their names to the PCAPH.
