Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor have been signed to play the lead in Karan Johar’s next directorial venture ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
“Here’s the big news, Karan Johar to direct Aishwarya, Ranbir and Anushka in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. To be released on June 3, 2016. Music for the film to be given by Pritam,” Karan Johar’s Dharma Production posted on its official twitter handle.
This will be the first time former Miss World Aishwarya Rai will work under the banner of Dharma Productions. Ace bollywood director/producer Karan Johar is excited to direct the eternal Bollywood beauty in his next venture.
According to Indian media reports, KJO said, “Love is the theme and conflict of my next directorial endeavor. When I worked with Ranbir and Anushka in Bombay Velvet, I knew their pairing and undeniable chemistry warranted another film and I am extremely excited to direct them. ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ also fulfills my big dream to work with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. It is possibly her most unusual and contemporary character and I can’t wait to work with her”.
Karan Johar is going to take to exotic locales of London, Paris and New York for the shoot. The movie will go on floors sometime next year.
