Pakistan Naval Academy cadets assume guard duties at Mazar-e-Quaid

KARACHI: A smartly turned out cadets of Pakistan Naval Academy assumed ceremonial guard duties at the mausoleum of the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah here on Wednesday, to mark the 66th Independence day celebrations of the country.

Commandant Pakistan Naval Academy, Commodore Zahid Illyas was the chief guest of the change of guard ceremony.

Commodore Zahid Illyas reviewed the guard and along with the cadet guard presented salute to the father of the nation.

Later, he recorded his impressions in the visitors' book and paid a rich tribute to the great leader.
