LAHORE: Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Liaqat Baloch has said that the energy crisis could lead to the end of the present government.
Addressing an Iftar dinner here, he said that the people had high expectations of the government but were being disappointed.
Liaqat Baloch called for building new dams in order to solve the energy crisis on long term basis after evolving consensus.
Appreciating the government campaign against theft of electricity and gas, he said that the electricity and gas connections of the members of the parliament and assemblies should also be checked during the drive and those found guilty in this respect, be disqualified.
