Govt to bear expenses for rehabilitation of Abbas Town affectees, treatment cost of injured

KARACHI: Sindh Governor, Dr. Ishrat- ul- Ebad Khan, has said that the government would bear the expenses of the rehabilitation of Abbas Town tragic incident.

He said here on Monday that the treatment cost of the injured would also be borne by the government.

A Governor House statement said that Dr. Ishrat directed the Commissioner Karachi to ensure the relief efforts so that the affectees be provided with temporary lodging and boarding.

He also asked the Commissioner Karachi to also remain in contact with reputed social welfare organisations.

The Sindh Governor instructed Provincial Health Secretary that best possible treatment be arranged for the injured.
