HAMBURG: Tunisia's state grains agency has initially purchased an estimated 25,000 tonnes of soft milling wheat and about 50,000 tonnes of animal feed barley in an international tender which closed on Thursday, European traders said in initial assessments of the purchase.
The grains can all be sourced from optional origins.
The tender had sought up to 134,000 tonnes of soft milling wheat and 100,000 tonnes of feed barley.
The soft wheat was bought at $215.90 a tonne c&f.
The barley was bought at $194.89 and $196.25 a tonne c&f.
