Spot gold rose 0.2% to $1,953.21 per ounce by 1213 GMT. Prices jumped by 2.4% on Thursday, setting them up for a 3.9% weekly gain.

Copper pushes towards two-year highs as dollar falls further

Benchmark three-month copper on the London Metal Exchange (LME) was up 1.4% at $6,946.50 a tonne in official trading.
"The copper market looks rather strong from a fundamental point of view," said Julius Baer analyst Carsten Menke.

Osaka Exchange's (OSE) rubber contract for April delivery finished up 6.0 yen, or 2.8%, at 222.3 yen ($2.15) per kg. Still.
Rubber prices have rocketed last month to their highest in over three years as protective glove demand surges due to the COVID-19 crisis and industrial use rebounds in China.
