KARACHI: Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is all set to learn boxing from the boxing Queen Mary Kom for her next film.

 

Chopra will be seen playing the role of boxing queen in a biopic of Mary Kom. She further announced on Twitter "Now off to my first meeting with the one and only Mary Kom!!! Dhan tana... Will make her teach me how to wear my boxing gloves!!” she posted.

 

Kom has also given her permission to Priyanka playing her role and the film is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

 

Kom is a five-time World Boxing champion and the only woman boxer to have won a medal in each one of the six world championships.

 

She is the only Indian woman boxer to have qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics, competing in the flyweight (51 kg) category and winning the bronze medal.
