ISLAMABAD: The prices of chicken has dropped to Rs 100 per kg in twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi due to decrease in demand ahead of upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
Poultry traders said that further decrease expected in coming days. They said demand for chicken decreases during Eid-ul-Azha which forces the farmers and sellers to cut its price to attract customers.
While the prices of eggs were increased to Rs 110 per dozen due to high demand.
