Chaudhry Pervez Elahi appointed as Deputy PM

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Q leader Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has been appointed as the deputy Prime minister of the country,Business Recorder reported on Monday.

According to the notification Elahi would not be possessing the powers of the prime minister.

Earlier, Fifteen members of the parliament were included in the Federal Cabinet on Monday during an oath taking ceremony held at the President House.

Those who took oath of federal cabinet included Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain, Shaikh Waqas Akram, Ghaus Bux Mehar, Sardar Bahadur, Khan Meharr, Shahjehan Yousuf, Khwaja Sheraz, Akram Masih Sehgal, Talib Nakai, Asif Tausif, Anwar Hussain Cheema and Jam Muhammad Yousuf.
