KARACHI: Gold jumped by Rs1,114 to close at Rs49,971 per 10 grams in the local market Thursday as its international price climbed to $ 1,621 an ounce, market sources said.
According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also grew up by Rs1200 to Rs58,300.
Silver closed higher at Rs857.14 per 10 grams.
