KARACHI: Gold slipped by Rs 257 to close at Rs 49,285 per 10 grams in the local market Thursday as its international price dropped to $ 1,616 an ounce, market sources said.
According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also plunged by Rs 300 to Rs 57,500.
Silver closed unchanged at Rs 848.57 per 10 grams.
