LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 12.40 point as the LSE-25 Index opened with 3507.81 and closed at 3520.21 points.
The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 1.383 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.586 million shares, showing a downward slide of 1.202 million shares. While, out of the total 104 active scrips 18 moved up, 69 remained equal and 17 shed values.
Engro Corporation Limited, Lucky Cement Limited and Engro Foods Limited were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 4.56, Rs 1.89 and Rs 1.31, respectively.
Askari Bank Limited, Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim and The Bank of Punjab Limited lost their per share value by Re 0.29, Re 0.25 and Re 0.24 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included D.G.Khan Cement Company with 203,260 shares, NIB Bank Limited with 196,602 shares and The Bank of Punjab Limited with 160,063 shares.
