American technological giant Apple is likely to launch a mid-range iPhone SE 2 in coming March which is rumoured to pack the latest A13 Bionic chipset — debut in iPhone 11.

As per Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the company is working on a new low-cost iPhone that is set to be released during the first half of 2020, perhaps in March 2020.

Meanwhile, SlashLeaks adding spice to speculations suggests that the iPhone SE 2 (iPhone 9) could debut as soon as March 6.

The new iPhone is more likely to be called "iPhone SE 2” and its expected price point of $399, which would be in line with the original iPhone SE. There's no concrete word on what it will be named when it's released, but one rumor from Japanese site Mac Otakara has suggested it could be called the "iPhone 9."

Unlike, the original iPhone SE — which looks like an iPhone 5S — the new device is expected to have similar look as an iPhone 8.

In terms of specifications, the device will feature a 4.7-inch LCD display, the same A13 chip that's in the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro, making it one of the fastest devices in the market. It will include 3GB RAM, and it will continue to offer Touch ID instead of Face ID, with the Touch ID Home button at the bottom of the device.

Apple would rather go for a single-lens rear camera to keep costs low, and it is expected to come in space gray, silver, and red color options.  Storage options are likely to include 64 and 128GB.
