Unilever Food declares 250pc cash dividend on higher profit

KARACHI: Unilever Pakistan Food Ltd has posted a higher profit after tax of Rs 187.942 million during the quarter ending March 31, 2012 and declared a cash dividend of Rs 25 per share.

According to financial results sent to KSE here Tuesday, the pre-tax profit of the company surged to Rs 281.785 million during the period under review compared to Rs 224.162 million in the same period last year.

The earning per share also improved to Rs 30.52 compared to Rs 23.55 in March 2011.
