KARACHI: Two ships arrived at Port Qaim on Saturday carrying palm oil at LCT, wheat (Load) at FAP, a PQA statement here said on Sunday.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 35 percent on Saturday where a total of five ships namely M.V Mercy Wisdom, M.V Elicia, M.V Dubai Express, M.T Dond-A-Iris and M.V SN Queen were currently occupying berths to load/offload cement, wheat, containers, palm oil, sunflower seed during last 24 hours.
Cargo handling Operations were carried out smoothly at the Port wheat a cargo volume 19330 tonnes, comprising 16268 tonnes import and 3062 tonnes export and 552 TUES was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
M.V Dubai Express sailed on Saturday afternoon.
M.T Four Island at FOTCO, M.V Maersk Montana at QICT, M.T Bunga Angsana at LCT, M.T Fairchem Yuka at EVTL expected to take berth on Sunday.
