KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Thursday at 17,181.01 points with a positive change of 356.18 and volume of 126,468,300 shares. High and Low were 17,472.08 and 16,824.83 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 29 were up, 1 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 185,842,130 shares. Total companies traded were 360 of which 262 were positive, 79 were negative and 19 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 30,861,300 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 26,409,500 shares.
