KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Friday at 17,067.99 points with a negative change of -352.63 and volume of 162,597,300 shares. High and Low were 17,542.60 and 16,991.83 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 6 were up, 24 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 230,725,160 shares. Total companies traded were 358 of which 130 were positive, 213 were negative and 15 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 39,262,000 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 30,540,500 shares.
