KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Thursday at 18,795.01 points with a positive change of 224.87 and volume of 98,441,400 shares. High and Low were 18,920.21 and 18,601.06 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 28 were up, 1 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 163,028,690 shares. Total companies traded were 340 of which 225 were positive, 101 were negative and 14 were unchanged.

Technology and Communication was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 29,058,600 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 24,261,300 shares.
