KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Thursday at 19,019.67 points with a positive change of 349.87 and volume of 107,011,900 shares. High and Low were 19,114.70 and 18,669.80 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 29 were up, 1 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 154,324,990 shares. Total companies traded were 339 of which 228 were positive, 88 were negative and 23 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 29,459,100 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 17,699,200 shares.
