LAHORE: The Lahore Stock Exchange on Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 40.34 point as the LSE-25 Index opened with 3444.89 and closed at 3485.23 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 6.105 million shares to close against previous turnover of 5.731 million shares, showing an upward move of 373,875 shares. While, out of the total 110 active scrips 36 moved up, 59 remained equal and 15 shed values.
Engro Foods Limited, Attock Refinery Limited and Fauji Fertilizer Company were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 2.00, Rs. 1.63 and Rs 1.51 respectively.
MCB Bank Limited, Kohat Cement Company Limited and Adamjee Insurance Company lost their per share value by Rs 3.97, Rs 1.14 and Rs 1.10 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 1.385 million shares, NIB Bank Limited with 1.081 million shares and Lafarge Pakistan Cement with 657,690 shares.
