ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari Saturday during his fifth address to the joint session of the parliament appreciated the political wisdom of Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani.
In his address, the President said, "The Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani deserves our unqualified appreciation for his political wisdom in handling various challenges with courage and perseverance."
Amidst loud desk thumping over the President's remarks for Prime Minister Gilani, President Zardari also appreciated the contribution and support of the coalitions partners to the PPP government during the last four years.
President Zardari said, "I would also like to recognize and appreciate the contributions made by our coalition partners PML (Q), MQM, ANP, FATA legislators, PML (F), BNP (Awami) and other parties for their strong support."
The President also acknowledged the role of the leader of the opposition and members of the opposition parties for playing their role in the Parliament.
