European Union soft wheat exports for the 2018/19 season that started in July had reached 17.1 million tonnes (mn t) by May 5, down 4 percent versus a year earlier, European Commission data showed on Monday.
EU 2018/19 barley exports had fallen 24 percent to 3.8 million tonnes compared with the same period a year ago.
EU 2018/19 maize imports were at 20.5 million tonnes, up 38 percent versus a year ago.
