RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Friday at 20,162.92 points with a positive change of 96.30 and volume of 47,651,400 shares. High and Low were 20,213.64 and 19,944.97 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 16 were up, 13 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 101,739,920 shares. Total companies traded were 319 of which 155 were positive, 148 were negative and 16 were unchanged.

Vanaspati and Allied Industries was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 16,680,000 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 12,220,200 shares.
