BANDAR LAMPUNG: Indonesia exported 44.7 tonnes of cocoa beans in March from the Sumatran province of Lampung, local trade office data showed on Monday.
Shipments last month shrunk 96 percent from 1,016 tonnes in the same month last year. Compared to a month earlier, shipments in March rose 82 percent.
The local trade office often revises shipment figures as more data becomes available.
Lampung is a minor producer in Indonesia, but the beans are normally high-quality fermented.
