RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Tuesday at 20,526.76 points with a positive change of 176.57 and volume of 59,930,600 shares. High and Low were 20,601.49 and 20,283.63 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 19 were up, 11 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 86,389,470 shares. Total companies traded were 347 of which 177 were positive, 139 were negative and 31 were unchanged.

Technology and Communication was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 19,404,400 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 10,706,600 shares.
