Zardari pays tribute to Nusrat Bhutto

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians President Asif Ali Zardari Friday paid tribute to Nusrat Bhutto to be called the 'Mother of Democracy' on her birth anniversary.

He, in a message received here, expressed the resolve that the party would continue to follow her footsteps with steadfast determination.

Zardari said such legends were seldom born who had the courage to sacrifice their family, happiness and life in the way of democracy. Nusrat always opposed and condemned the brutalities of dictators, he added.

He opined that the PPP would always oppose undemocratic forces and pledged his party would continue their struggle for the defense, freedom and democracy of the country.
