RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Wednesday at 22,895.14 points with a positive change of 3.97 and volume of 117,360,000 shares. High and Low were 23,183.09 and 22,848.08 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 13 were up, 17 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 160,241,810 shares. Total companies traded were 348 of which 131 were positive, 198 were negative and 19 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 39,189,600 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 22,566,200 shares.
