Transparency to be ensured in auction of 3G technology: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Thursday said that the government would ensure fair competition and transparency in the auction of 3G spectrum technology.

Talking to the heads and chief executive officers (CEOs) of major telecom companies, including PTCL, Mobilink, Zong, Ufone, Telenor, and Warid, the Prime Minister said the government was committed to provide an enabling environment for the introduction of the latest technology in the field.
