RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Tuesday at 21,807.59 points with a positive change of 348.43 and volume of 101,556,000 shares. High and Low were 21,884.93 and 21,427.40 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 27 were up, 2 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 166,790,720 shares. Total companies traded were 367 of which 241 were positive, 103 were negative and 23 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 21,967,600 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 21,371,820 shares.
