Higher Education Commission (HEC) has invited applications from researchers and scholars for the HEC Outstanding Research Awards for year 2017. According to an official source, the objective of this programme is to recognize and reward the outstanding performance of Pakistani researchers and scholars for research, innovation and publication in all fields of study and promote a competitive research culture in higher education and Research and Development Institutions.
The awards will be given in four categories including Best Research Paper, Best Young Research Scholar, Best Innovator and Best book while the last date for submission of applications is August 16. The awards will be given in different disciplines including Natural Sciences, Biological Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Health Sciences, Pure Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Social Sciences, Management Sciences and Arts/Humanities.
The applicants can download application form from HEC website www.hec.gov. pk/site/ ora and send to Noshaba Awais, Director (Research and Development Division), HEC, Sector H-9.
