RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Friday at 21,226.30 points with a positive change of 8.35 and volume of 85,432,500 shares. High and Low were 21,498.87 and 20,995.39 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 11 were up, 18 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 130,398,810 shares. Total companies traded were 332 of which 143 were positive, 165 were negative and 24 were unchanged.

Power Generation and Distribution was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 19,963,000 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 19,596,400 shares.
