Museum opening on March 23

Commissioner Lahore Abdullah Khan Sunbal has said that the National History Museum at Great Iqbal Park will be inaugurated on March 23. "On the same day, a boating lake in the park will also be inaugurated," he said this while addressing a meeting held here on Tuesday to review the progress of work on the project. He further said that Oscar winner Shermeen Obaid and her team Citizen's Achieves of Pakistan, non-profit organisation, is setting the Museum's layout. "The museum was a mega project of Greater Iqbal Park phase II, which would digitally present all aspects of Pakistan's history as per international standards," he added.
