Dr Abdul Qayoom Soomro, a close confidant of PPP Parliamentarians president Asif Ali Zardari and Faisal Kareem Kundi, former deputy speaker National Assembly, have reached Quetta to woo Senators-elect from Balochistan in support of Pakistan People's Party. Aaj News reported Saturday night that they met Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo. They will meet Senators-elect, particularly the independents. Zardari has begun political manoeuvring, eyeing the top slot of Senate i.e. chairman Senate. Zardari wants PPP nominee to be elected Chairman Senate. The incumbent chairman Mian Raza Rabbani too belongs to Zardari's party-PPP.
