Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) senior leader Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has said that those who talk about giving respect to votes have insulted the assembly members in an attempt to take oath from them in the Senate elections. While talking to the media outside the Punjab Assembly on Saturday, the PML-Q leader said that Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif during their 10 years rule in Punjab, adopted rough attitude with assembly members.
Replying to a question about campaign against the NAB, he said Ch Shujaat Hussain and Moonis Elahi have appeared before the NAB twice. "We respect all national institutions. We have also given respect and preference to the assembly members." He said they made historical legislation during their tenure for welfare and well-being of the poor and the common man and made laws for establishing institutions which benefit people of every area and field.
