The new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development and Management Company (KP-EZDMC) is likely to take charge of his responsibility from Monday (today). The newly selected CEO for the flagship company of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Saeed Khan, holding dual nationality of Canada, has already been arrived in the province and called on KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak.
The officials of the company are not ruling out the possibility that the new CEO is all set to assume charge. An emergency meeting of the Board of Directors (BoD) of the company has also been convened for the day.
The post of the CEO KP-EZDMC has gone vacant in wake of the arrest and resignation of the former CEO, Mohsin Syed in November last year.
In response to the advertisement inviting applications for the post nearly 80 candidates filed applications, but the selection committee after the scrutiny of CVs recommended a panel of three candidates to the Board of Directors (BoD).
The HR committee paved way for Saeed Khan by bringing amendments in both the recruitment policy as well as HR manual of the company without prior approval from the Board of Directors (BoD).
